Morrish Builders are pleased to be supporting Artwey's first ‘Open for Art Event' at Poundbury, Dorset.
The free event, which runs from 20th May to 4th June show cases the work of 80 artists across 40 venues throughout Dorchester, Weymouth, Portland and, for the first time this year – Poundbury.
Eleven Poundbury venues including Bonjour Café, Gallery on the Square, The Engine Room Restaurant and the Poundbury Garden Centre will feature art work including painting, pottery, printmaking, sculpture, textiles and jewellery.
Artwey Directors, Olivia Nurrish and Carol Cruickshank say “Over the years we have been requested by both artists and visitors to incorporate Dorchester and Poundbury into the Art Trail and we decided now is the time. We are absolutely delighted with the response and support we have received from both the local artists and venues and we really look forward to welcoming a new audience and contributing to cultural life at Poundbury.”
