Morrish Builders is delighted to support local gardener, Tom Hill in the first Ascot Garden Show held between 13th and 15th April 2018 at the show ground.
Tom, who has been selected to design and build one of the six show gardens at the prestigious event, produced some of Morrish's recent stunning show gardens on site at Poundbury in Dorset, including the show home garden of recently released Plot 109 on Reeve Lane.
Like the other designers selected this year Tom's garden named “On Point” will be themed around ‘Town and County'. When asked how his garden will be different he said:
“I wanted to create an intimate space, that is aesthetically pleasing with a strong dynamic visual, but ultimately a usable, functional garden. I was keen for it to be like one of my paintings...something you can step into and enjoy.”
Tom is very much looking forward to the challenge of building a 9 by 9 metre show garden plot in only a few days and has designed what he believes to be a “modern garden that is bold in form and stylish with a sense of theatre'” using local craftsman to build each piece of furniture.
Keep a look out here for further updates on how Tom's designs are brought to reality in the lead up to the event.
