Celebrating the start of the festive season at Poundbury and Nansledan
On Saturday 30th December, the thriving communities of both Poundbury and Nansledan came together to celebrate the start of the festive season.
Crown Square, Poundbury played host to this year's Christmas Market, which was the biggest ever, featuring over 100 local traders and performance from a local choir. The previous evening had seen the Christmas tree lights switch on, which we were proud to sponsor, that featured carols from the Prince of Wales School.
Nansledan hosted an evening of festive fun with a Santa parade, live music and a late night Christmas Market that featured a variety of stall from artisan, local businesses.
The evening was topped off with a Santa meet-and-greet and a performance of traditional festive tunes from The Indian Queens Brass Band.
