These include much needed affordable housing at policy levels, along with allotment gardens for all in the village and an enhancement to the biodiversity on site by the creation of a wildlife pond.
The development application for 18 new homes which comprise a mix of starter and family housing will be submitted to Dorset Council during the month of March. After a year of planning and consulting with the community and Dorset Council, there is an emphasis on ensuring the development will blend into the village with the use of stone, brick, slate and clay as the key materials. There are also proposals for an intense tree planting and wildlife enhancement as part of the planning application.
